It's Been A Long, Long Time! But if you ask the 260+ residents and friends that attended, they'll probably say it was worth the wait!
As reported in the Spring 2007 issue of the King-Merritt Community News, "back in the day" of the origins of our community, there used to be numerous social events that residents participated in...and the idea was floated to start the neighborhood activities again. Well the community certainly responded with enthusiasm — evidenced by the outstanding attendance to the event, and the participation of so many residents volunteering their efforts and donating items to help make the party a success.
